Where does the Time Go!

Hey Everyone, been a while since I posted anything. I got a new job an I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted on my blog, man time really does fly.
Anyway I figured it was about time I started post some of my scrapp'n pages. So here's one I did during a online crop with Crop addict. I had this paper for the longest time, and didn't have a clue what I was going to use it for. But as you can see it worked out just perfect for this lay out of my daughter in the tub. Hope ya'll like it!

Welcombe Cricket

Everyone say hello to my new little one to love. Born Feb 4,2009. I have named her Cricket. She is 1lb 8oz. She has been a great comfort, since the lost of my little girl Charlie one month ago today. I know it's been awhile since I posted or even cropped. My heart just hasn't been in it. I still miss her a lot and I cry almost daily. I know that time heals all wounds. Though it's not likely that I'll ever forget her. Cricket is very sweet, she loves to sleep on the pillow with her head right next to yours. She also has a bit of a stubborn streak. Training one on one has begun. She is the cutest little thing when she plays with the other dogs and cats. Her bark is more like a very faint woof. My husband calls her The Bratt. That's a fair assessment. Seeings how I'm spoiling her rotten. Well today is National Scrapp'n Day so it's time to get those creative juices flowing. Hope everyone else is doing the same. Wishing everyone well! Donna

My Heart is Broken

IN LOV'N MEMORY
It's taken me several days to be able to write about this and I know I won't get through it without crying, but here it goes. I lost my sweet little dog Charlie on Wednesday. She was expecting puppies and died during birth along with all of her little ones. Charlie would have been 4 years old in October. She was my baby, I took her everywhere and at home she followed me everywhere. I can't believe she's gone. I so loved her and the tears just won't stop. And yes I even took her to crops with me. She would sit on the scrap table wraped up in her blanket. I know that not everyone can understand how one can get so attached to a dog. You see I have three children and two of them have graduated and are living their own lives. The other one will follow soon. Were as this is a wonderful thing I found myself going threw a stage of life at 40 that I didn't realize existed when I was twenty. So you see My little Charlie filled a big space in my life, every corner of my home is filled with her memories. I know that in time the pain in my heart will ease and one day I may get a new little one, or my children may decide to give me some grandchildren to spoil and scrap. Those of you that have small children enjoy them every minute because they grow up very fast. All I know is give all the love you can while you can and thank GOD for every minute, every second that you have to give it.

Rooster Scrapp'n

Howdy! My name is Donna and this is my scrapp'n story. I am the wife of a wonderful praying man and the mommy of three. Two son and one beautiful daughter. If your wondering about the name, I have been collecting roosters for twenty two years now. It started with a platter an expanded too what nots, salt & pepper shakers, trivets, cook jars. I do tend to be very selective when choosing them. From time to time my children count them, and they have picked out the ones they want one day. I have slowed down now that I scrapbook. I love watching Lord of The Rings, Pirates, Cars, (just to name a few) while I scrap. I am fourty three years young. At this stage in my life my kids have grown up (two of them anyway) and the other one is quick on their heels. I have worked for twenty years as a photographer. I can truly say I have enjoyed the kids I have photographed over the years. Hard to believe that some of them are married and having kids of their own now. Time is the one of many thing we can not stop. My new love is my little long haired chihuahua. She was my christmas present three years ago. Her name is Charlie and in two week she'll have her second litter of puppies. This is my first blog and I'm really excited about it. My goals are to be a guest designer and/or a designer. I have developed a style all my own. I just gotta be me!
